Per Ölund

Swedish-born painter, sculptor and assemblage artist. Born 1955.

Education: Gerlesborgsskolan 1972-1975. In 1981 he received a Bachelor of Arts from The Royal College of Fine Arts in Stockholm.

Olund has been described as: "savage furious and dynamic, absurd or even - in a constructive sense - 'mad'".

Olund is represented in a number of private collections in Sweden and in the rest of Europe (Denmark, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Lituania, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, Switzerland) and in the USA (Houston TX, Austin TX, Palm Springs CA, Colorado Springs CO, Buffalo NY), Indonesia (Jakarta) and China (Beijing).
Represented at Swedish State Art Council amongst others.

Recived Danderyd Art Award.
Literary Award: Prisma 1985.

Lithographic commissioned work at SJ (State Railways), Wall decorations in private environments - mainly in Delaware, Rockford and Minneapolis (USA). Design Assignments for mainly a Chinese company.
